Sussex Man Tells Cop He Drank Too Much to Drive, Police Say

A Sussex was charged with his fifth OWI after Falls after police spotted him driving with a broken brake light Wednesday morning.

A defective brake light led to a familiar charge for a Sussex man early Wednesday morning in Menomonee Falls.

Erik Kettleson, 37, was pulled over while driving near Town Line Road and Good Hope Road around at 2:15 a.m. for a defective light. When an officer spoke with Kettleson, he noticed all the signs of impairment including slurred speech, glassy eyes, and the smell of alcohol.

When asked how much he had consumed, Kettleson told the officer, “Too much to be driving, probably,” according to a report from the police department.
