Sussex Man Gets 20 Years For Sexually Assaulting Two Boys

William Radix, 45, will spend the next 10 years in prison and another 10 on extended supervision for assaulting the boys in September 2011 inside a Milwaukee home.

A Sussex man who sexually assaulted two young boys in Milwaukee last year will spend the next 20 years in prison for his crimes.

William M. Radix, 45, was sentenced Monday by Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge David Borowski to 20 years in prison after being convicted of two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child less than 13 years old. Radix will serve the first 10 years in prison and the second half of the sentence on extended supervision.

Radix was charged after a Sept. 25, 2011 incident where he was at a home in the 4700 block of North 54th Street and was playing a game with the 9-year-old when he threw a blanket over the child and then began touching his butt and genitals. The boy sat up to try and stop Radix, but he continued to touch the boy’s genitals.

A 7-year-old victim told police Radix was playing hide and seek with him the next day and after Radix found the boy he pulled down his pants, exposing his genitals to the child and then asked the boy if he wanted to touch it, but the boy said no.

When asked about the incidents, Radix told police everyone was rubbing lotion on themselves at the home and he was helping them and they later rubbed lotion on him.

He said later that day one of the victims approached him and began to rub his penis until Radix told him to stop, but then the other victim began rubbing his penis.

Radix told police he “is not into children” and at least one of the victims came onto him.

Radix was convicted of the charges after a three day trial in June, but was found not guilty of a third charge of exposing his genitals in a public area.
