Frozen Yogurt Business Opening In July

Yo Yogurt will open in Menomonee Falls, and marks a growing trend toward more ice cream alternatives in the southeastern Wisconsin.

A small frozen yogurt business will open in Menomonee Falls just in time for the summer heat.

Yo Yogurt, a start-up business, has plans to open early July at the North Pointe Centre, 14501 W. Appleton Ave., Menomonee Falls. The new company will offer a complete array of frozen yogurt options and toppings inside of their 1,793-square-foot space.

Andy Fishler and Kevin Riordan, of The Boerke Company, represented the frozen yogurt tenant in the lease transaction.

Momentum continues to build at the North Pointe Centre. Yo Yogurt will join Big Lots and Jo-Ann Fabrics, both recent additions to the North Point Center earlier this year, as well as a new sushi restaurant called Sakura Sushi and Japanese Grill. Jo-Ann plans to open May 17, Big Lots is already open, and Sakura will open in weeks.

Frozen yogurt franchises have been popping up across the southeastern Wisconsin. The Third Ward, Wauwatosa, and Brookfield all recently welcomed  ice cream alternatives to their markets.
