Join the Meetupery For Its Grand Opening Thursday
The Meetupery is a community space for residents to meet, greet, collaborate and create.
Scott Offord is an entrepreneur with a plan to foster new ideas and collaboration in Sussex.
Offord is a business partner with Sussex-based Orion Group, which is a web design and marketing company of about 10 employees. On Thursday he and about 150 others will open the Meetupoery, which is an open community think-tank of sorts.
The celebration and collaboration will start from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Meetupery, N69W25055 Indiangrass Lane Suite G.
Entrepreneurs and other start-up pioneers can collaborate and exchange tips and information using the resources at the Meetupery, which will operate as a nonprofit. Even a crochet group could hold meetings and get-togethers at the Meetupery. Catering to the needs of the roughly 4 percent os Sussex residents that work from home was another spark for the project.
