Free George Webb Burgers if Brewers Win Next 3 Games

George Webb Restaurant is once again predicting a 12-game winning streak. If the Milwaukee Brewers make it, the restaurant will give away free burgers.

George Webb is predicting a 12-game winning streak for the Brewers and last time their prediction came true the restaurant gave out 168,194 free burgers throughout the state.

The restaurant chain plans to do the same giveaway if the Brewers make to the 12th win, according to a release.

George Webb’s General Manager Ryan Stamm said, “This is such an exciting start of the year for the team. You can bet that we’ll be cheering the crew on to 12 straight and beyond.”

Burgers fans around the state are hoping they make it. They take on the Padres again at 9:10 p.m. (local time)  Wednesday.

A sweep of the Padres would set up the Brewers to win 12 straight while in Los Angeles when they take on the Dodgers. After an off day Thursday, the Brewers play the Dodgers at 9:10 p.m. Friday in the opener of a three-game series — their potential 11th straight victory — and again at 8:10 p.m. Saturday — the potential 12th win in a row.

A few facts about the 1987 burger celebration:

  • more than 25,000 pounds of ground beef and 173,000 hamburger buns were ordered
  • 573 gallons of catsup and 286 gallons of brown mustard were used
  • 2,868 pounds of onions and 367,180 slices of pickles topped the burgers
  • an average of 300 customers were served per hour
  • approximately 50 hamburgers were handed out every 10 minutes at each location

While thousands of fans enjoyed their burgers on the spot, some fans asked George Webb company President, Dave Stamm, to autograph their burger and have kept it in the freezer for years, according to a release.
