Support the Waukesha County Backpack Coalition!

The Waukesha County Backpack Coalition needs help in order to provide over 2,000 backpacks this year to families with financial constraints. Donate supplies or sign up to volunteer today!

SUPPORT THE WAUKESHA COUNTY BACKPACK COALITION

The Waukesha County Backpack Coalition (WCBC) consists of local organizations that have united to help provide school supplies and backpacks to families with financial constraints. Each year the WCBC organizes, collects, assembles and distributes approximately 2,000 backpacks with grade appropriate school supplies to students in grades K-12 throughout Waukesha County. All backpacks and school supplies are donated by individuals, families, groups, churches and companies.

The WCBC is still in need of your help this summer! Here are a few ways that you can support this important organization and help children in Waukesha County:

Β - Donate backpacks or school supplies: All donations can be dropped off at the Child & Family Centers of Excellence on Bluemound Road in Waukesha. They are open from 8:30am-4:30pm.Β  Please make drop off arrangements by contacting Marcy at The Salvation Army at (262) 547-7367.

- Donate Funds: A $25 donation provides a backpack filled with grade appropriate school supplies for a Waukesha County student! Make checks payable to the Waukesha County Backpack Coalition, and they can be sent to the organization at:

- Volunteer: Many volunteers are still needed to help at the Fill the Bus events THIS SATURDAY, June 28th! Contact Marcy at The Salvation Army at (262) 547-7367 to get involved. The Fill the Bus events are being sponsored by the Volunteers of Lake Country and are being held in three Waukesha County locations: Waukesha Wal-Mart, Pewaukee Wal-Mart, and Hartland Walgreens.
