During library hours throughout March, the public is encouraged to visit and view the many forms of artwork created by children from all grade levels. The work includes photography, paintings, drawings, pottery and cermaics, abstract creations and more.

Lindberg explained that Youth Art Month started in 1961, when it was known as Children's Art Month. It is celebrated each year to focus attention on the value of art education for all children while encouraging public support for quality school art programs.
