Want to Drive a Minivan in a Demolition Derby?

Raffle tickets to compete in the Waukesha County Fair demolition derby are now available.

Express Towing of Waukesha is offering fairgoers a chance to drive a minivan and compete in the Demolition Derby on Saturday, July 21, at the Waukesha County Fair. Tickets are $10 each or three for $20. Proceeds of the raffle benefit the Waukesha County Fair Association.

The raffle drawing will be held at the start of the Demolition Derby, presented by Action Auto Promotions, on Saturday, July 21, at 1 pm. You must be present to win. Tickets can be purchased before the fair by calling Express Towing at 262-547-0911. During the fair, the tickets are available until Saturday at noon at the Express Towing raffle booth, located at the northwest corner of the Coors Light Stage. The minivan will also be on display at the booth.

The minivan heat is second to last in the Demolition Derby. The winner will be supplied a helmet, gloves, coveralls, and a review of the demo derby rules. Participant must complete and sign an authorization waiver provided by the promoter. The raffle winner has a chance to win a cash prize if he or she is a finalist in the heat!

The is a non-profit volunteer organization that is completely separate and receives no funding from Waukesha County or the City of Waukesha. The 170th Waukesha County Fair, sponsored by Aurora Health Care, runs Wednesday, July 18 through Sunday, July 22, on the Tickets at the gate will be: Adults $9, Youth 6-12 $3, and children 5 and under are FREE. Daily parking is $5. Free motorcycle parking is sponsored by Hupy & Abraham, S.C. all five days of the Fair. Take I-94 to Hwy.
