Adult Summer Reading Program

 There's still plenty of time to be a part of our Adult Summer Reading Program.  Read or listen to a book, fill out a review form, and submit. Each entry puts you in the running for weekly mini-prizes and some terrific grand prizes. Read, review, and repeat through August 3! Library Scavenger Hunt

How well do you know the library? Test your library user skills and fill out a scavenger hunt form. Completed entries will be entered into a prize drawing for a gently used Nook Color! The contest runs until the end of the Adult Summer Reading Program on August 3rd. Pick up your scavenger hunt form at the "Start Here" desk!  

PHPL Ice Cream Social 

We will be hosting our annual Ice Cream Social on the grounds of the library on Wednesday, August 1 from 6-8 p.m. This year the event will serve as a fundraiser for the library.  

Under tents set up on the front lawn, PHPL staff and community volunteers will serve ice cream with chocolate syrup, brownies and cups of soda for 25 cents each. The will offer a used book sale in the Quad/Graphics Room in the Library, with most items 25-50 cents each.
