The Senior Dining Program at the Community Center hosted a special event called Celebration of the royal wedding Wednesday. It included a luncheon and bridal fashion show.
The fashion show was provided by Goodwill’s Fashionable Affairs program. The models were all volunteers wearing donated items.
“Donating a vintage wedding dress, bridesmaid’s dress, or mother of the bride dress to our program can be a perfect way to preserve your wedding memories,” said Cheryl Axford, Manager of Volunteer Services at Goodwill.
While the wedding dresses were modeled during the fashion show, Axford shared some historic photos and stories about the original owners of the dresses.
