Benefit Planned For Toddler Who Lost Father Too Early

In February, Michael McCann died from a fatal overdose and left his fiance' and daughter with nothing. Now, friends are hosting an event to raise monies to place in a fund for her education and other expenses when she comes of age.

Friends say Michael McCann’s two-year-old daughter, Samantha, was the center of his universe.

McCann, 28, would fret through the workday to ensure his daughter would make it to dance class. He was also played a fatherly role with his fiancé’s son from another relationship.

However, McCann was found dead in a Brookfield home on Feb. 28 from a drug overdose. Sadly, McCann has been battling an opiate addiction, and it was his first relapse after entering drug treatment at a detox facility. McCann’s death left his fiancé’ and daughter  ith nothing.
