13th Annual Mother's Day Gift Bag Project

The Volunteer Organization of Women is Sussex (VOWS) is coordinating the 13th annual Mother's Day Gift Bag Project.

Now in its thirteenth year of the Mother's Day Gift Bag Project, the Volunteer Organization of Women in Sussex (VOWS) is committed to continuing what has become a valued community tradition.  In celebration of Mother's Day and through the generosity of local businesses and individuals, the VOWS will once again prepare 100+ gift bags that will be distributed to mothers who currently use the Food Pantry to help provide for their families.

The goal of this project is to honor women and offer a glimmer of hope at a time when they are experiencing hardship and trials.  The gift bags are lovingly packed with an amazing variety of items.  Each bag has its own unique assortment, including such items as:  hair products, lotions, candles, stationary, sweets, accessories, cosmetics, and personal care items.

Donations can be dropped off at any of the following Sussex locations during the month of April.  Look for a purple collection bin near their entrances.
