Sign Up Early For the Charger Challenge

We thought we'd send you a friendly reminder today on Patch to register before fees start increasing.

There's still plenty of time remaining to register for the annual Charger Challenge mud run before registration fees start increasing. So, we thought we'd send you a friendly reminder today on Patch.

If you are interested in participating in the race, you can be the early bird and register online today. Fees will start increasing after Sept. 6.

The Charger Challenge is a 4K mud run with more obstacles planned this year. It's an annual event sponsored by the Hamilton Education Foundation, and all proceeds fund grants and other improvements in the Hamilton School District.

The event starts at 9 a.m. in the Town of Lisbon Community Park. Waves will be run every 20 minutes from 9:00 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. There’s even a shorter Charger Kids Challenge geared towards children ages 6-10 with plenty of mud and obstacles.

The run isn't as intense as the Though Mudder or Dirty Girl runs that feature fire and electric fences. In fact, participants don't need to be fitness buffs. They just need to be willing to get muddy.
