Sussex Outreach Services is hosting their annual fundraiser on Sunday, June 3. The festivities begin at Village Park from noon to 2pm, and then move to the SOS Resource Center and Food Pantry. At 2pm, the Fun Walk will start at Village Park, down the Bug Line Trail to the Resource Center Offices.
From noon to 2 pm, at Village Park, there will be fun activities for all. Including food booths, bouncy house, fire truck, mascots, hair feathers, and more! At 2 pm, the Fun Walk will end at the Resource Center office, where the community can learn more about all that SOS offers. There will be tours of the office and food pantry. Also, art from students of the Hamilton Sussex School District will be featured on the walls at the office.
Join us on Sunday, June 3rd, to raise money for Sussex Outreach Services. Funds will be used to purchase new shoes for children as they head back to school and for the Summer Bonus Bag program. The Bonus Bags are extra bags of food for families who have children home during the summer that are no longer receiving free lunch at school. Monies raised will also support all of the other programs and services that SOS provides to those in need. Hope to see you there!

More About Sussex Village Park (Main Park)
This is Sussex's premier park, with sweeping open spaces and a nature trail for recreation and top-of-the-line facilities for most major sports, concessions in season, restrooms and a large picnic shelter house for group gatherings, generously sponsored by the local Lion's Club. Baseball is big in Sussex, and this is where it is played.
The park spreads throughout 75 acres and features ball diamonds, a seasonal concession stand, sledding hill, nature trail, playfields/open space, indoor restrooms, playground equipment, three open air shelters, an enclosed building, tennis and volleyball courts and an 18-hole disc golf course. There are also plenty of play places for small children.
