 th of July" on Wednesday\, July 4\, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.\nIt's an old-
 fashioned event like those held in small towns in the 19th and early 20t
 h centuries and will include music\, games and a centerpiece "through th
 e ages" parade that will wind around the 1870s Crossroads Village.\nThe 
 band concert will be performed by the Harmony Cornet Band\, which comes 
 together only once a year to play at this event. Using historic instrume
 nts from the late 19th century\, the band will perform throughout the da
 y. Their repertoire will include "The Doxology\," which was played by th
 e U.S. Marine Band at the dedication of the National Cemetery in Gettysb
 urg just prior to President Lincoln's Gettysburg Address on Nov. 19\, 18
 63.&nbsp\;\n"Old World Fourth of July" will also offer patriotic exercis
 es and a lively debate.&nbsp\;\nVisitors are welcome to participate in s
 pirited competitions like races\, egg tosses and tug o&rsquo\; war\, wit
 h winners pitted against the site's oxen team.\nAdmission Special Guests
  may visit WaterStone Bank branches to pick up a special $3 off coupon g
 ood for general museum admission during "An Old World Fourth of July" &m
 dash\; and valid the week of July 1 through 8. Each single-use coupon is
  good for discounted admission for up to six people.\nAdmission:&nbsp\; 
 Adults $16\; children (5-17) $9 (children under 5 are free)\; students a
 nd senior citizens (65 and over) $14\; family (two adults and two or mor
 e dependent children 5-17) $43. Fees include all-day tram transportation
 . Veterans with proof of service receive free admission to this event.\n
 Overview of Old World Wisconsin: Old World Wisconsin\, owned and operate
 d by the Wisconsin Historical Society\, is a premier outdoor museum of l
 ate 19th- and early 20th-century Midwestern immigrant farm and rural lif
 e. The museum offers visitors engaging points of connection\, facilitate
 d by period-clad interpreters\, and by visiting 10 working farmsteads\, 
 exploring 12 heirloom gardens\, interacting with historic animal breeds\
 , and trying out historic crafts and trades. The new "Life on the Farm" 
 experience is now open for the 2012 season. The site is open May 1 throu
 gh Oct. 31 plus postseason holiday weekends.\n_________________________\
