Join hundreds of other pet lovers who high-tail it to this day-long festival in support of HAWS! You can walk individually or bring a "Pack" and walk as a group! Log into our website for registration forms. You can also raise funds online rather than on foot; just follow the links on our website to start your own online fundraising page. Each year, the Walk raises over $40,000 for the shelter – usually about 1/5 of that is thru the online pages! Top donors will receive special gifts!
Of course, there's more to do than just walk! Visit our vendor booths and do some shopping, participate in contests and games, have a tasty lunch, meet adoptable pets from HAWS, or enjoy meeting up with old friends-and making new ones! There will be a Bake Sale, personal ID tags for sale and opportunities to get your pet microchipped or just a have a nail trim.
Best of all, because sponsorships underwrite all costs of putting on the Walk, 100% of the money raised for this event goes straight to HAWS! Participants' donations provide proper care, food, bedding, toys and lots of attention for the animals in need at HAWS. Funds are also used to support HAWS' humane education programs, which promote responsible pet ownership and prevent animal abuse. So come on out with your doggie friend for a fun-filled day of activities!

More About Sussex Village Park (Main Park)
This is Sussex's premier park, with sweeping open spaces and a nature trail for recreation and top-of-the-line facilities for most major sports, concessions in season, restrooms and a large picnic shelter house for group gatherings, generously sponsored by the local Lion's Club. Baseball is big in Sussex, and this is where it is played.
The park spreads throughout 75 acres and features ball diamonds, a seasonal concession stand, sledding hill, nature trail, playfields/open space, indoor restrooms, playground equipment, three open air shelters, an enclosed building, tennis and volleyball courts and an 18-hole disc golf course. There are also plenty of play places for small children.
