The Volunteer Organization of Women in Sussex
(VOWS) would like to once again create 100+ gift bags for the Sussex-area Outreach Services Food Pantry in celebration of Mother’s Day. The gift bags will be distributed to mothers who currently use the Food Pantry to help provide for their families. The hope is to make them feel special and appreciated at a time when they are experiencing hardship.
The VOWS would like to make this a communitywide effort and welcomes donations from local businesses, organizations, individuals, and families.
Typical donations include body washes, soaps, lotion, shampoo, cosmetics, perfume, nail polish, personal care products, jewelry, candles, journals, knick-knacks, and sweet treats.
Donations will be collected throughout April at these Sussex locations:
North Shore Bank - W249 N6600 State Hwy 164
Shopko - N66 W25201 Cty Hwy VV
Sussex Dental – N63 W23401 Main St.
Waukesha State Bank - W249 N6688 State Hwy 164
Monetary donations are also welcome and will be used to purchase additional products for the gift bags. Checks should be made out to VOWS and mailed to:
