A new trampoline park will have its grand opening Saturday, May 4 in New Berlin. The 25,000 square-foot park will include 130 interconnected trampolines; 2,000 square feet designated for two dodgeball courts; a 750-square-foot foam pit; a rock-climbing wall; and a pizza and concession area. Helium Trampoline Park, located at 16235 W. Beloit Rd., is the first in Wisconsin. The park also offers party packages. See webiste for more information. New restaurant is planned for Capitol Drive in Pewaukee.
Editor's Note: The following information was provided to Patch via a news release from The Boerke Company. Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, a quick-service authentic Texas barbecue restaurant, will be opening their eighth franchise location in the State of Wisconsin in Pewaukee. The new location in the Pewaukee Commons retail center, at 1275 N. Capitol Drive, is 2,800 square-feet and will offer the full Dickey’s menu and catering options. Nathan Powers and Kristian Sydow, of The Boerke Company, represented the tenant in the lease transaction. Dickey’s will join Five Guys Burgers and Sport Cuts in the center. Plans for a Chick-fil-A were approved by Greendale officials in 2012 and the chain was supposed to open a new store on South 76th Street near Southridge this summer. The company is opening a new facility in New Berlin.
Quad/Graphics setting up for a second New Berlin facility that will operate seven days a week and plans to open in late May, reported the Sussex Sun. The new facility will serve as a mail-sorting center and also house a finishing operation to support the company’s specialty print division. Quad/Graphics, a print provider, is accepting employment applications for the new facility. Eventually the new facility will have 150 full-time and part-time employees, which include 25 employees coming from the Pewaukee location. Quad/Graphics is leasing the 205,063-square-foot industrial building at 5600 S. Moorland Road from Ace Distribution and Leasing.
The organization has elected Jay Mack of Town Bank as the president.
The Waukesha County Economic Development Corporation elected its officers and directors for 2013, reported the BizTimes. Jay Mack, president and chief executive officer of Hartland-based Town Bank, has been elected as resident of the organization.
