Because my name is more of an adjective than a noun.

I’m Sorry – So Sorry

I am sorry. To all those I encouraged, sorry I misled you into thinking your efforts would not go unrewarded. And that you could change the course the nation is headed on.

I’m sorry that America spoke loud and clear when they chose welfare over freedom. I’m sorry voter ID was struck down in an effort to sanction voter fraud.

I’m sorry the poor gents in Benghazi had a socialist dictator as their lifeline. May God rest their souls.

I am sorry our children are saddled with an inconceivable debt and sorry that they may never know the America our founding fathers intended. I am sorry our brave men and women of the United States military are nothing more than pawns to our president.

I am sorry we re-elected a community organizer whose first political meeting was held in the living room of the scariest American terrorist of modern times. I am sorry he was re-elected because of voter fraud, entitlements and the color of his skin.

I am sorry that, according to the general under-informed public, celebrity appeal and good public speaking are priority requisites for our commander in chief. I am sorry the Constitution is a worthless document to the leader of the free world.

I am sorry that all of the fears of four more years are now becoming our reality. I am sorry the sound of slamming doors is small businesses across the country closing shop.

I am very sorry that the fate of the ill is at the mercy of Obama’s death panel. I am sorry that the unqualified panel doesn’t hold a medical degree, but rather, are driven by greed and corporate red tape.

I am sorry we won’t be able to afford to drive our cars because of high fuel prices. I am sorry our president doesn’t want us to be self-reliant like we are certainly capable of. I am sorry he is also building a society of citizens that are not self-reliant either. I am sorry the good guy doesn’t always win in the end.

I am sorry that as I pound the keyboard, the anger swells in my gut….

I am sorry my anger is turning into resentment.

And I am sorry to those on the left because that resentment is metastasizing into motivation. And I’m sorry that the motivation is merging with loyalty. Democrats, I am sorry that you think the freedom fighters have been successfully silenced and squandered. I am sorry that you’re foolish enough to think this hushed the silent majority. I am sorry that you’ll soon learn the days of our silence are days gone by.

I am sorry you’ll discover that we’re far from defeated. I am sorry that you’ll learn the sour taste of war at the hands of the patriots ready to die for their country. I am sorry that we will stand shoulder-to-shoulder to defend our rights and preserve our freedoms that our founding father envisioned.

I am sorry you haven’t yet seen the conservative beast unleashed. I am real sorry that you’re about to. I am sorry we will not give up until we are dead and gone. And sorry that, even then, we’ll stand with a God we openly praise, and fight from above.

I am sorry we will not give up the right to defend ourselves, our faith, our family and our freedom, with our lives if necessary. Or that we believe in individual freedoms.

I am sorry that I refuse to be treated like a man. Or that I believe life shouldn’t be seen as a fair game where everyone gets a first-place trophy. I am sorry that as a single mom without child support, I refuse to collect entitlements at the hand of the top 1 percent.

I am sorry that I think women’s liberation movement and feminism screwed it up for freedom-loving females everywhere. I am sorry that I have a problem with my tax dollars going to kill your babies and pay for your whoring. I am sorry that I think government has no place in our home, or that I don’t think the children of undocumented illegals should have the same rights as my American-born daughter. I am sorry that the only issue I am in in agreement with you on this is embryonic stem cell research. I am sorry that you have to murder the unborn – and sorry that I feel we should find triumph in the tragedy by using the pieces to try and save the lives of the terminally ill. I am sorry that I am in agreement with you on just one issue.

I am sorry that a group of people large enough to reelect the scariest president in the nation’s history really exists. I am sorry that there are that many ignorant people in the United States of America. I am sorry that a man that may, or may not, be American-born is the commander in chief of what used to be the free world.

I am sorry the movie 2016 is going to be our autobiography. I am sorry a man named Barrack Hussein Obama is the president of the United States of America. I am terribly sorry he stood at the Tomb of the Unknown on a day meant to honor our fallen heroes without his hand on his heart or so much as a salute.

I am sorry I am angry. What I am not sorry for is the fearless, freedom-fighting friends I have made along the way. Or for the lessons I have learned. I am not sorry that I refuse to be silenced, or that I promise you, on my soul, that the fight has just begun. I am not sorry that we will use the next four horrifying years to get stronger and become a force undefeatable.

I am not apologetic that we are fierce, strong, determined and smart. Or that we will stand shoulder-to-shoulder and walk through the gates of hell defending our freedoms with our life if necessary.

I am sorry you won, but I am not sorry you’re about to learn what it’s like to piss off freedom-loving patriots.

Godspeed.

Says Randy, after your president divided races, classes and called for revenge. Says Randy, after senior advisor, Valerie Jarrett said, “After we win this election, it's our turn. Payback time!” Now Randy has the sudden bravado to call out "a subtle threat" under the guise of wanting "to bring us all together for the good of a nation."

Good luck with that Randy.

Death panels for Medicare and Medicaid patients are already a reality taoist. Doctors, nurses and staff have already coined (and I do mean coined) a p.c. code for it. It's now being called "the pathway", or simply "the path" for short and the number of patients chosen for it has dramatically increased over the past several years. Do your homework before spouting such nonsense tao.

Hmmmm. we say the same things about the MSM, George Soros, Think Progress, Daily Kos, all the newspapers...whatever. There are people who are unelected and don't have to be doctors that will telling states how many procedures will be allowed...once that amount is reached, nobody will be able to have that test...it is called rationing...those same unelected non doctors will be able to choose life or death for many of you...Obama did say that people will just have to be given pain killers if treatment options for older people won't do as good if the same treatment goes to a younger person.....so there is a death panel...right now if you go to the hospital and are treated then sent home, you can't go back with recurring symptoms for up to 30 days or the hospital is fined, that just went into effect. Abortion is covered even though obama promised it wasn't and was even called a liar by Congressman Wilson at his SOU speech and it turns out he was correct.....See many of us have read the document because we are business owners who are laying off people right now in order to afford the taxes and the regulations.....we are making sure to put people with Obama Stickers on their cars, first on the lay off list...you get what you vote for.

"right now if you go to the hospital and are treated then sent home, you can't go back with recurring symptoms for up to 30 days or the hospital is fined,"

Do you know why that is? It is so that hospitals won't be tempted to discharge patients early and without making sure the patient has adequate home support to make sure medication is taken, etc. It's called good medicine.

As for the rest of it, you seem to be conflating health insurance, Medicaid and Medicare all together. Are you doing the right thing and dropping your personal health coverage since you object to paying for that of your employees?

Comment_arrow

Naynay, pre-ACA and even now you have severely underqualified people denying claims and treatments, wasting the time of physicians and hospitals, and review panels whose focus is protecting profits. That's the for-profit health insurance industry you apparently prefer. A middle man that gets in between patients and health services. Doesn't it make more sense to take the middle man out of the equation? But the Affordable Care Act is not a national healthcare program, would that it were. I perceive it as an attempt to rein in the profiteering of the health insurance middle man. If it doesn't work, this country seriously needs to consider a NH plan.

Anti, ALEC is a special interest-type organization with bi-partisan legislative membership (although there are far more GOP members). I am of the firm belief that the influence of special interest groups, not just ALEC is proving ruinous to our country's financial health and security over the long term. If our nation is to be truly "equal opportunity" that means equal access to legislators, even if the constituent can't offer a book deal or other perks. Obviously that's an idealistic view, but one I believe to be inherently sound.

It's really got nothing to do with men and women, Heather (other than the fact that if you can sell this notion that the GOP is nothing but crusty old white men, you can attempt to set up Hillary's run in 2016). It's got to do with the extremes on either side being unwilling to give up their hardened positions. It's not gonna change.

Hence, there's no sense complaining about logjams in Washington and a lack of coming together. They're only doing what the voters want them to do, as evidenced by the results of this election. More of the same stuff we've had over the past 4 years.

Depends on what you mean by "work together". B.O. and the Democrats didn't even stick out a hand these last four years. B.O. Care is the best example. Once it passed the Senate, and the Dems had a majority in the House they could have approached the Republicans and said "look, something is going to pass. Either this piece of garbage which will burden the middle class and ruin the economy, or something we can come up with together."

But none of that happened. Another wasted opportunity brought to you by B.O.

I don't like the individual mandate either, Alinsky, but neither do I like paying for your healthcare indirectly through cost of goods and services or increased medical costs to cover bad debts while I have none for myself. Here's a thought -- the GOP still controls the House. You guys give us a healthcare system that works better than the ACA and I'm sure it will be popular.

Or by freedom, do you mean the freedom to get your health insurance through your business while not covering your employees?

The human mind, in its desire to know, understand, and control, mistakes its opinions and viewpoints for the truth. It says: this is how it is. I'd really just like to know what this means:

Noelle Lorraine
Because my name is more of an adjective than a noun.

That is all. Have nice, hypertension-free day.

Thanks Noelle nice post. As always the Libs are vicious before the election, then afterwards we all néed to compromise. Of course Obama came out and said he now has a mandate. The only mandate he has is to stand on a corner and hand out free contraceptives. So libs enjoy your free stuff, you'll need it because there won't be any job growth.

@JMB -- Yes, the Conservatives were so restrained before the election and they are accepting the will of the majority with such grace and maturity now.

I recall two recent elections where the 'liberal' side lost by the same margin and we were pretty much told to suck it the next day. No real offer of compromise.

No one is handing out 'free contraceptives' that were not being handed out before.

@Absolutelyfabulous -- I doubt it is Ms. Lorraine deleting any posts. It is most likely the Patch editors who don't care for certain links being posted. And then, unfortunately, any replies are deleted along with the parent post.

Thanks to all of my outspoken supporters. I am grateful for each of you. To those who stand in opposition I respect your opinion too.
@annie brewer, as always, your words are eloquent and inspiring.
And I hope everyone takes the time to look at the photo on this blog of the way I found my car this am. Something that would Only happen to an Italian or GOP operative...

Miss Noelle thinks she's an "operative". Can you say delusions of grandeur? You really think someone torched your car because of this stupid blog? Really???? You are delusional, I would bet it was an ex boyfriend or you did it yourself. The blog is not worth damaging someone's personal property over. I do hope you notified the police.

There seems to be quite a bit of rust on this car as if it has been sitting for quite some time. No vestiges of a license plate. No evidence that provides a specific place for the car. And, of this hour, no news alerts of a politically-motivated attack on Noelle Lorraine. If this occurred overnight or this morning shouldn't we have heard about it by now?

I accept your apologies. Now...with a Republican majority in Congress and a Democratic President, can we count on you to support bipartisanship as the voters have directed?

JMB

Got to love that bipartisanship. Just like Obama going against the will of the people when he forced thru Obamacare. He bought off Senators and then negated Mass. Voting in Scott Brown through his parliamentary tricks. Well, enjoy your non-recovery but you have your food stamps, Obama phones and contraceptives. Hope there is something left to save 4 years from now.

TruthTeller01 – I'm afraid I can't and don't agree with you that this is a forum for dissecting a writer's personal life because of her political views – especially when that person has put herself at the disadvantage of providing her full name, thus identifying herself to anyone wishing to background check her, while you and other commenters use aliases that prevent her or others from returning the favor.

Jim Price, if someone is going to write a blog about being a conservative and HER lifestyle does not reflect her preaching, then people should know she is a SHAM. Noelle and her group have been harassing people for over a year, she put herself out here, she reaps what she sows.

My life won't change much with Obama being elected. I voted for Romney but my life will go on. I do not have children so I do not have to worry about their future. I have discussed the election with several people, several are liberals and surprisingly, they are the one's that seem angry. Not one conservative that I have talked to has said anything angry or acted that way - only the liberals. I wonder why that is. Probably because you know you voted in a completely inept man and a liar to boot. When this Libya stuff blow's up in everyone's face I truly hope you realize the error of your ways.

@Sunrocket -- I truly wish I could copy/paste some of the things I've been reading on various message boards since Monday morning -- vile racist stuff and business owners closing down their operations simply because they'd have to give their employees health insurance now (even though they brag of Cadillac plans for themselves). I think it would change your perception that only the liberals are angry.

Randy - I'd love to do the same but I'd get banned from commenting. Considering the democrats won I'd think I'd be hearing a little more kumbaya. I honestly know and interact with more liberals than I do conservative's and not one of them has expressed how happy they are he was re-elected. Considering your side presented no other alternative I guess you had not one to vote for. I think the insurance thing will come to rear it's ugly head in just a matter of time. I purchase my own insurance and have for years so I expect a larger premium in time. I'm self employed in an industry that has managed to whether the recession so I am not concerned about losing my job. I know quite a few liberals with some pretty fancy insurance plans themselves so that's not just something on the right. At least conservatives are not hypocrites, practically every liberal I know is. I wish Obama the best in the next 4 years - he is going to need it and so is our country. Maintaining the status quo doesn't help anyone - but isn't that what liberals want to do? Help everyone? Regardless if they are perfectly capable of helping themselves? That's the liberal mantra isn't it - just let people think they need the government and then they'll get the votes. I wonder why none of these people's lives ever get better after voting democrat? Tom Barretts Milwaukee is a perfect example.

"At least conservatives are not hypocrites, practically every liberal I know is"

Could your statement be any more subjective? It's also more than a little ironic, given the course of this thread.

" Considering your side presented no other alternative I guess you had not one to vote for."

How often do we see a serious challenger to an incumbent President?

As little as i like the status quo, II would prefer the status quo to turning around and heading back to where we were in the fall of 2008.

Sunrocket

I was a bit surprised that Noel would come out of the closet and put something like this on the Patch. The last time she placed her extreme views in a blog on the Patch, she had her head handed to her. I look at this piece as someone with deep regret at their failure to manifest their fantasies. What she is really bemoaning is the death of her mythology, myopic perceptions, and will be expected to change. Poor Noel; life's a bitch and then you die.

@Lyle -- I would have said it was Noelle's behind that got handed to her last time, but you're so much more elegantly-spoken than I am.

I'd like to call BS on this entire rant of hers, but one thing I must point out:

" I am sorry that as a single mom without child support, I refuse to collect entitlements at the hand of the top 1 percent."

As if it's only the top 1 percent who pay for those 'entitlements' that help struggling single mothers. We all pay for those, and we lower bracket types pay more when the 1 percenters get their tax breaks.

I really took exception to her remark about paying for other women's 'whoring'.

@The Real Randy 1949....I too took exception to her remarks and like you find the her comment about "whoring" particularly distressing. Back in the day, I knew quite a few liberal radicals who were as ingrained in their revolutionary positions as Noelle is in hers. A few of them died in a police shootout and that was probably a good thing for the overall society. One of the things I take away from her rant is how very dangerous her position has become to the general public welfare. When people take those extreme positions, either right or left, they lose perspective and start viewing everything through the lens of hatred and are apt to make inappropriate decisions followed by horrible actions. If she wasn't already on a government watch list, this rant will probably put her there. She appears unstable enough to do something drastic.
