In a effort to help out new gardeners, I am posting a picture of leaf curl on a tomato plant.
This is due to stresses on the tomato plant caused by our dry winds and intense high heat that will be with us into next week. If you container garden and see this starting to happen on your plants, move them to a shaded location. If your plants are in the ground, then you might want to see if you can put up some sort of shade with a pop-up canopy or umbrella.
After the sun has moved low into the evening sky, that would be the time to water all your tomato plants. Remember to water at the base of the plant and not water directly over the top as that could lead to mildew and funguses attacking the leaves of your tomato plants.
