Let’s be honest. Being the editor of Sussex Patch isn’t exactly conducive to sitting down and hanging out with the people I technically work for: Sussex residents.

That’s why I’m setting aside a couple hours each week to hang out at Starbucks on Main Street so I can hear first-hand what residents are talking about. I want you to swing by, snag a coffee and come chill out with me.

I’ll be at Starbucks every Wednesday from 1 – 3 p.m.

We can talk about story ideas you may have, advice on what you’d like to see Patch do next or anything that’s on your mind. I’ll even buy your coffee while we hang out.

So mark your calendars, and remember, I’m the goofy-looking kid with the big Patch laptop wanting to talk with any stranger who says “Hey!”
