Nikki Haley Joining Walker for Sussex Rally at Quad/Graphics

Gov. Scott Walker will be joined by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley Friday afternoon for a grassroots rally at Sussex's Quad/Graphics.

On his tour throughout Wisconsin, Gov. Scott Walker will be stopping by Quad/Graphics in Sussex on Friday for a “grassroots rally.”

Joined by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, the two will start their rally at 2:15 p.m. at Quad. Both Gov. Walker and Gov. Haley visited the Miller Electric Manufacturing Company in Appleton earlier on Friday.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett is also making his rounds on Friday. Former President Bill Clinton will be joining Barrett at 10 a.m. in Pere Marquette Park in downtown Milwaukee.

Numbers from the most recent poll out of Marquette University Law School put Barrett seven points behind Gov. Scott Walker, 45 to 52 percent.

After Walker wins, again, we need to criminally go after WEAC and WEA Trust for ripping and overcharging the taxpayers for health insurance. Local school board members who contributed to year after year to this theft should also be looked into. Let's clean the house once and for all of this gross scam the public unions played on this state.

Yea Steve, and then we should also impeach Walker for all the crap he pulled when he was county executive... he might as well use the criminal attorneys he hired.

So you are OK with them ripping off taxpayers for billions?

Gee Steve - how about actually using facts instead of Walker propaganda for a change? Teachers didn't cause our current situation and WEAC and WEA Trust didn't rip off and overcharge taxpayers for health insurance. To the contrary, school districts did not have to use WEA Trust and many did not - districts had the right to choose and exercised that right. If you want to be upset about something - how about the $2.3 billion in corporate welfare Scotty handed out? Or the illegal campaigning by his staff using tax dollars? Or secrecy pledges?

Here is a great example of a low informed potential voter. These are not "talking points" but results of what we learned after collective bargaining was removed.

WEA trust an arm of WEAC was ripping tax payers for health insurance. We found this out after collective bargaining was removed and school districts were allowed to shop around for their insurance packages. Widely reported by non liberal news yet a lot ignore these facts.

Pewaukee School District will save $378,000 by next year by leaving WEA Trust. The Menomonee Falls School District will save $2.4 million. Shorewood will save $500,000 per year. Howard-Suamico Saved $1 Million By Switching From WEA Trust. Onalaska School District Left WEA Trust And Saved $800,000 The list goes on and on.

WEA trust covered two-thirds of Wisconsin school districts last year.
From 52 school districts that changed health insurance carriers, show total savings of more than $30 million.

That is real money, year after year after year and quality and level of service is the same. Just wait until the others catch on.

the more you know...

You may also want to study up on how tax intensives are implemented and granted and how the state is actually increasing it's revenues.

Great points, Steve, and don't forget how WEA trust tried to compete after Act 10 by extreme reductions in their premium charges for the same product, that is the real telltale information. And yes, I am shocked that the School Districts that used WEA trust haven't gone after them for being overcharged for a number of years!

La crosse, Appleton, whitefish bay and others renewed just now. Elkhorn, crandon, pitsville, marsh field switched to the trust to save money. Rhetoric doesn't match facts.
