VIDEO: A Chili Cook-Off to Fight Hunger
The Sussex Lions Club threw a massive chili cook-off to help the Sussex-Area Outreach Services' food pantry.
Chili enthusiasts went head-to-head on Monday night during the Lions Club 28th Annual Chili Cook-off.
Hundreds of residents swarmed the Sussex Armory to get a taste of the different chilis, soups and sweets, and it was all for a good cause.
The money raised during the event goes to help stock the food pantry at the Sussex-area Outreach Services, and its in desperate need of donations this time of year.
However, the cook-off was all in good fun, and the winners excitedly accepted their trophies before hungry chili lovers got their hands on the award-winning recipes.
