Sussex Teen Pleads Not Guilty in Sexual Assault Case
Daniel Koepke, 18, is already serving a 22-month sentence for another sex crime involving a minor.
Daniel Koepke of Sussex pleaded not guilty Friday to a charge of second-degree sexual assault of a child.
Koepke, 18, is already spending 22 months in prison for a sexual assault conviction involving a 6-year-old girl in Washington County.
In the latest case, Koepke is accused of inappropriately touching a friend’s sister between June 2010 and March 2011 when she was 12 or 13, according to a criminal complaint.
Koepke was bound over for trial though a date was not set. His next scheduled appearance is a hearing on April 22.
