Sussex Man Charged With Passing Bad Checks At Piggly Wiggly
Suspect passes two bad checks in two days for nearly the same amounts.
A 44-year-old Sussex man is facing charges after he allegedly wrote two bad checks to Piggly Wiggly.
Ernest E. Bybee was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court Tuesday with two counts of issuance of a worthless check. If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in prison and $20,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
On Jan. 28, Bybee went to Piggly Wiggly and bought $44.89 worth of goods and paid with a check. He back the next day and bought another $44.92 worth of goods. Both checks were later returned due to insufficient funds.
He will make his initial appearance in court June 11.

So the guy shafted Piggly Wiggly out of $89 and he's only facing a year and a half in prison and a $20,000 fine... When are we going to get tough on crime? The fine for that should be $10billion!
