The Hilton goes beyond the limits of MKE, and supports the MF Rotary as an awesome sponsor of all MF Rotary events, participates in MF Rotary Membership, provides discounted prices and some services without cost, and actively engages in MF Rotary activities and programs locally and internationally. Hmmm, wonder if the MF Radisson does that????

I guess we didn't need a hotel in the Falls then, which is what I said in the first place.
I read in another paper that the Rotary had another annual even at the Hilton also. I figured they probably had to book it well in advance so that's why they didn't use the Radisson. I can't say as I blame them for not booking other things there. I'd be rather afraid it would close up shop and I'd be stuck with no place for my event.

Sorry Jann, you were right, I get it now. I missed the boat on that one: apoligies.

Great, lets complain about where to hold a charity event rather than thank the Rotary Club for all their hard work in getting scholarships for deserving students in a tight economy. I just find it hard to criticize folks who do so many good deeds such as the Rotarians. Jann and Chris, honestly now, would you have gone to the function if it was held at the Radisson or are you boycotting the scholarship fundraiser for students because it's not being held where you think it should be held? I'll take a WAG and bet you wouldn't go if it was held across the street from your house.

jerry: I don't think you read my post. I actually said I don't blame them for not holding it at the Radisson. My comment about us not needing the hotel has nothing to do with the Rotary. We didn't need the hotel.
