POLL: Which New Business do You Like Best?
Sussex saw several new businesses open in 2011, and Patch is wondering which places have already become favorites.

A number of new businesses opened during 2011 in Sussex, and while each addition brings value to the community, it's likely a favorite or two have surfaced. Have you made up your mind yet? Let us know in the poll below.
Here's a recap of what's opened in 2011:
Boneyard Pub & Grille
After Seigo's Japanese Steakhouse filed for bankruptcy, Boneyard Pub & Grille swooped in as Sussex's latest bar & grill-themed restaurant.
Rumors Sports Bar & Grill
The less-than-popular restaurant Hardees closed its doors leaving a vacant building for Rumors Sports Bar & Grill to open. Featuring 25 TVs, this bar must be someone's new favorite business.
Anytime Fitness
Open 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year, this new business really makes it hard to make excuses for not having time to exercise.
Sips n Strokes
Feel like having a few glasses of wine while a real pro teaches you how to paint your own masterpiece? Look no further than Sips n Strokes, a new business that held its grand opening in March.
Kim’s Canine Design
Originally located in Butler, Kim Magdic took her passion for puppies to a new shop on Main Street in Sussex. Kim held her grand opening in October.
Fitness Revolution
Fitness Revolution is a fitness center, offering training programs geared toward weight loss. Classes offered include Boot Camp programs, which are run in 8 week cycles, Group Personal Training, TRX Suspension Training and Combat Cardio.

I do think Sussex needs Boneyard girll but I also wish we had a Woodman's in either Sussex or pewaukee

The closest we're going to get to Woodman's here is the one that will be coming to Waukesha in the next couple of years. The "sweetheart" incentives that they got to build there pretty much took our area out of the running...still...it's a little closer than the Menomonee Falls one. As far as new businesses...any word on what's going on with the new Italian place that was supposed to be going in to the old Pepino's? It seems like it's been "coming soon" for a very long time.

I think people should visit a place more than once before leaving a bad review.
Your bad review can cost a business money by unnecessarily scaring people away.
I've had bad experiences at some of the best places around. Think before you type.

Carrie, I'm eating at Boneyard right now. SO GOOD! I got the 75 cent boneless wings and fries. Great deal, the wings are perfect, and they have wi-fi. This is totally my new hang-out place.

Seriously? I googled it and it popped up in MF, so that's why I assumed. I'll put a Pepino's update on my to-do list and check that out. Sussex JUST got a $5,000 new business grant program, too. I wonder if anyone will soon be taking advantage of it for that location.

It's been up since they opened (maybe even before that). I search it so often when I'm writing stories that Google just optimizes my search so it's the first thing that pops up. Crazy, creepy Google. lol. But you're right - the first time I tried finding it was a nightmare. They need to hire someone to get their search engine optimization (SEO) up.

I have been to the Boneyard and was soooooo not impressed... Tailgators food is so much better... Rumors-Not too great either...

Rumors is my favorite place to hang out. Best burger you can find in Sussex and the wraps are good too. They keep it very clean and there are TVs everywhere. They had issues when they first opened with wait times but most places do at first.
