Not even 24 hours after the Village Board accepted the bid for new construction at the subdivision, trees are falling and high-powered machinery is moving in.

Construction is in full swing at the Glen at Seven Stones, a new condominium development near Highway 164 and Seven Stones Drive.
The Sussex Village Board on Tuesday accepted a bid for work at the site, and the next morning construction crews were already sawing down trees and preparing the land.
DF Tomasini Contractors submitted the lowest of seven bids at just more than $1 million. The contractors will be responsible for everything from sewer and water pipes to road and sidewalk construction.
When construction is complete there will be 56 new spaces for homes in the Seven Stones subdivision. Village Administrator Jeremy Smith says the work will be finished in early November, with homes to be built over the next couple of years.
