Olive Garden, Buffalo Wild Wings Eye County Line Road Location

Continental Properties is proposing a large development in the parking lot of Riversbend Golf Club in Germantown that would accomodate the two franchises.

Rejoice Menomonee Falls. It’s been confirmed. Olive Garden is looking to build a restaurant in our backyard.

Premonitions about potential Olive Garden developments have tumbled around in the Falls rumor mill for years. And as it says in a pretty popular book, “Speak, and it shall be done.”

Continental Properties is proposing a substantial development in the parking lot of Riversbend Golf Club on County Line Road in Germantown. The development would include an Olive Garden and a Buffalo Wild Wings franchise. To accommodate the new restaurants, Riversbend would also tear down its existing clubhouse, and construct a new one just west of its current location.

Germantown planning staff is are reviewing the proposal, and they expect it will appear on the Plan Commission’s agenda sometime in January. If all goes well, the Germantown Village Board cold hold a public hearing and approve the project in March.

The 7,660-square-foot Olive Garden would operate from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Buffalo Wild Wings would be 7,715 square feet and operate from 11 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Developers estimate the two restaurants will create roughly eight managerial positions, and another 160 to 180 support staff.

I agree Lil Bit - it's just across the street really. Most Falls residents do a lot of their shopping here. The only thing is that Germantown will get the tax revenue from this development.

Falls has a reputation IE Hotel / taxes and how the Village is run. You have to ask yourself with the development on Main st and the old Stopher location why wouldn't
they build in the Falls. Why didn't Menards / Wal-mart and other Box builders do it
M.F. Continental Prop. home office location is ?

The Falls will be getting, yet another, health care facility and also a fitness center over by the new Walmart grocery store. Come on now kids...can't we all just share?

The Germantown Walmart and BW3's should do well being in such proximity to each other.

Brown Deer has the same violent crime rate as Falls, and Brown Deer also has a lower property crime rate. Seems like a wash to me.

I was referring to the long waits currently at all Olive Gardens, but more specifically the location on Brown Deer Ave, across from the ruins of Northridge, in where I typically go to. Now they can come over here.

And shop at our Walmart afterwards.

Why the heck is everybody so racist? If you don't like what is happening in the surrounding areas, and are so afraid that it will filter into your perfect little world, then find a different place to live. And for the record...I am white.

Notice how Lannon is silent during all this new outlying development! Our village board is waiting for a native American to step forward and open the 25th Casino in Lannon Wisconsin!
