Hamilton's New Five-Year Strategic Plan Previewed at Board Meeting
Hamilton staff gave a preview into what planning looks like for the new five-year strategic plan for next fall.
Since the last school in the district was built in 1999, the Hamilton School District has experienced an enrollment increase of more than 880 students. The district is bucking the trend that many other school districts are experiencing; typically, school districts do not see significant enrollment growth during difficult economic times. The district is proposing additions at Woodside and Marcy elementary schools that will be funded from the district’s Building & Ground budget and its fund balance.

Hamilton staff gave a preview to the development of the five-year strategic plan for next fall.
Human Resources Director John Roubik previewed the development plan to the board on March 5, according to the board highlights.
In preparation for writing the plan for next fall, the district has sought community representation for the planning team; secured CESA #1 Executive Director James Rickabaugh, Ph. D., as the external facilitator; and established personalized learning and student goal-setting and resiliency as areas of concentration for the new plan.
