Maid-Rite celebrated its grand opening this weekend in Waukesha by donating $500 to the Food Pantry of Waukesha County.

“We are so pleased that we're able to bring Maid-Rite to Waukesha,” wrote co-owner Vance Skinner. “We continue to see repeat visits from existing fans and new ones. There is nothing like a Maid-Rite or the unique menu we carry here in the area - the response has been tremendous and its heart warming to see everything come together.  We've had visitors as far away as northern Illinois.

“I'm glad to be among the fans we knew existed here in our community, its part unique food and a good ole fashion Americana nostalgia... a winning combination.”

Maid-Rite plans to continue working with the food pantry with a food drive during the fall.
