First-grade girls from Girl Scout troop 4585 joined the Parks and Recreation Department during Wednesday night's Christmas caroling event in Sussex.
The girls, accompanied by officials like the Village President, Village Administrator and Parks & Rec Director, hopped on a school bus at the Community Center and shuttled to area households in need of Christmas cheer.
Donned in red Santa hats and carrying around flashlights, sheet music and umbrellas, the group sang holiday favorites around Sussex from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.
