Fight Over Scooter Leads To Citations
Two Sussex teenagers ticketed after physical altercation on Main Street.
Two teenage men were cited after allegedly being involved in an altercation over a scooter on Main Street on Nov. 16.
The men, 16 and 17 year old, both from Sussex were given tickets after one of them supposedly punched the other after he refused to give the scooter back to him.
The incident occurred in the N64 W2242000 block of Main Street at 4:30 p.m.
No one was seriously injured during the alleged fight, according to the sheriff's department.

Two teenage "men" fighting over a scooter? Let's get the wording right. . . two teenage "boys".

Hi PH, tough call in terms of whether to call 16 and 17 year old males men or boys. I certainly would not call a 16 year old female a "girl." Going on the same logic, I feel the term "boys" would describe someone younger than 16 or 17 years old.
