Falls Factory Closing, 100 Workers Displaced
State officials are assisting employees of InnoWare, who are now out of a job following the factory's closing.

InnoWare Paper Company on Ridgewood Drive is closing and 100 jobs will be lost as a result.
Hoffmaster Group Inc. purchased InnoWare less than a year ago, and the company’s leadership decided to move production and distribution from Falls to its facilities in Clintonville, Wisconsin. In a letter to the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Hoffmaster’s Vice President of Human Resources Dave Vierthaler explained the decision.
"One of the (company’s) strategic objectives is business simplification in order to remain competitive in the industry. In aligning ourselves with this objective, we have made the very difficult decision to transfer all production volume and distribution out of the InnoWare Paper plant located (in Menomonee Falls),” Vierthaler stated. “The operations will relocate to another of the company’s facilities in Clintonville, WI, where an expansion project will commence immediately.”
Employees were notified of the relocation on Tuesday, and have received 60 days notification. The DWD is currently assisting the displaced employees to aid in the transition.
“We will do everything possible to effectively transition our employees as this change occurs,” Vierthaler stated.

Production in Menomonee Falls will ramp down from about January 1 to May 1, 2013. Customer orders will continue to ship from there while we complete the Clintonville expansion, which we expect to occur in January, 2013. Approximately 100 Menomonee Falls employees will be impacted.
That is what was told to the Employees in a Letter.

They just had an ad a couple weeks back in one of the local papers for workers and had a job fair. Why would they do that and then move to Clintonville?

I have worked here for over 11 years and not sure what I will do now but I knew the day Hoffmaster bought us they would do this even though they told us all along they were going to keep our plant open.
