Falls Couple Purchases Uptown Art Uncorked
Stacie and Joe Estrada have purchased Uptown Art Uncorked in Sussex, which is a business where you can paint while enjoy a glass - or bottle - of wine, beer, or anything else.
Menomonee Falls business owners, Stacie and Joe Estrada, are less than a month a way from becoming owners of a second business in Sussex.
Stacie and Joe have purchased Uptown Art Uncorked, W249N5267 Executive Dr. in Sussex. The Estradas also own The Cheesecake Store in downtown Falls. Uptown Art fuses art with a fully stocked bar, which can make for an enjoyable evening. Participants can pick a night for an art class, and everything you need to paint is supplied. You can also buy a mixed drink, beer, or bottle or glass of wine while you paint away.
Each day on the Uptown Art calendar features a specific painting that the class will create with the guidance of an instructor. Walk-ins and appointments are accepted.
The Estradas plan to offer after-school programs for local students – the bar would be closed off of course. They want to also offer programs for seniors, host a morning breakfast buffet for early classes, and team up with other art-centered businesses in the area.
There will be a “passing the palette” open house and paint party from 5:30-6:30 p.m. March 25 at Uptown Art.
For the past few years, Stacie has been an art instructor at Uptown Art, and the current owner offered to sell the business because she was relocating. It was an opportunity neither Joe nor Stacie could refuse.
Of course, the party business is big at Uptown Art and there will be plenty of desserts from the Cheesecake Store served up there. Purchasing the business was a great way to expand the customer base to some larger clients acquired through the Uptown Purchase.
“We’re very excited about the new business,” Joe and Stacie said.
