Charger Robotics Team Hosting Recycling Day

The extremely successful Hamilton High School Robotics team is hosting a slew of fundraisers this summer, including a free community recycling day.

After winning multiple awards in Milwaukee and traveling to St. Louis for the FIRST Robotics national competition, Hamilton High School Robotics Team 537 is ready to get back to its Sussex roots.

The successful robotics team is hosting a community recycling day from 8 a.m. to noon on June 16 with Action Recyclers. Whether you're still working on spring cleaning or never started, the team says it's a great time to clean out a house or garage free of charge.

Residents should bring items like aluminum, stainless steet, iron, copper, car batteries, computers, bikes, grills, lawn mowers and more to the south parking lot of Hamilton High School, right near the Hamilton Fine Arts Center. (The full list of items residents can bring can be found as a PDF on the right.)

Team 537 also have summer fundraisers scheduled. Head over to Piggly Wiggly on Main Street between 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the following days to enjoy a good-old-fashioned brat fry.
