98th Assembly District Results Are Official
The results are now set in stone, and 28-year-old Adam Neylon is still the winner in the 98th Assembly District.

The speculation and intrigue in the state’s 98th Assembly District election have officially been put to rest – literally.
On Wednesday, Waukesha County Clerk Kathleen Novack finished canvassing the vote count and posted the official results from the Feb. 19 election. Although there was much ado about the floating absentee ballots last week, the outcome was unchanged.
Adam Neylon will still take the seat vacated by state Sen. Paul Farrow in December. However, former Pewaukee Police Chief did trim his 30-vote margin to 29, according to the official results.

Before the official results were posted, there was some speculation that roughly 160 outstanding absentee ballots could sway the outcome of the race. Of the 160 ballots, just 12 were returned.
After the canvass, Todd Greenwald's count saw the largest bump, adding six votes to his total. Neylon added three, Baumann added four, and Jeanne Tarantino added one vote.
