The Waukesha County Fair Association invites Waukesha County high school choirs to enter the Fair’s contest for the opportunity to sing with Foreigner, Friday, July 20 at the Waukesha County Fair, sponsored by Aurora Health Care. The choir with the most votes on Facebook will be awarded $500 from Foreigner and the opportunity to sing “I Want To Know What Love Is” with the band on stage.

Contest Rules: Waukesha County high school choirs of 25 or fewer members can submit a video to the contest app on the Fair’s Facebook page. The high school name and song choice should be stated at the beginning of the video. The song should be performed a cappella, with no profanity or vulgarity, and no longer than two minutes in length. Video submissions will be accepted online May 14 through May 25, and voting will then begin June 1 and end June 15. The choir with the most votes after the two week voting period will be notified of the win via email/phone, and the announcement will be made on the Waukesha County Fair’s website on June 18.

How to vote: Voters must log into Facebook or create an account in order to vote. Go to the Waukesha County Fair Facebook page and click on the icon for the Foreigner Choir Contest. Click on the videos to watch the performances and vote for your favorite choir. Only one vote per Facebook account is allowed, but voters are encouraged to share the contest with their Facebook friends.

Foreigner, presented by 96.5FM-WKLH, will perform on the Miller Lite Main Stage at the Waukesha County Fair on Friday, July 20 at 8 pm. The concert is free with paid admission into the Fair; a select number of VIP & ELITE VIP seating tickets are available for the concert while supplies last.
